Remote recordings
Users with the DN372T device are now able to use the BT TV app to set recordings remotely.
Brand page panel update
We’ve updated the brand pages to make it easier to get to the episode you want.
- When you click on a tile to go to the brand page from TV Shows, Films, MyTV/Continue Watching and Search we’ll land you on the episode you clicked on
- You can now jump to the beginning or the end of a series carousel using the fast forward, rewind or skip keys
- We’ve also added series backgrounds for all on demand content which helps identify which series you’re on
'Players & Apps' has been renamed to 'Apps'
In the Main Menu, Players & Apps have been renamed to Apps. The pages will remain separated within the Players & Apps menu.
On screen keyboard
Searching for shows just became easier, with the introduction of our On Screen Keyboard.
The next time you use Search, you’ll be able to navigate down into the On Screen Keyboard to type your search term.
The On Screen Keyboard is also available in Settings if you try and set up or enter the answer to your Parental Control Security Question.
BritBox
With this update, BritBox will be made available and can be found within the Players & Apps section of YouView.
BritBox is a subscription service focusing on British TV series and films supplied by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. BritBox will offer a wide range of popular TV shows across various categories including Drama, Comedy, Documentary & Lifestyle, Reality & Entertainment and Crime.

The landing page of BritBox displays the various genre categories under the scrolling banner images.
Users can also quickly get to the popular TV series Doctor Who and see the selection of classic films available by navigating the menu at the top of the page.
If you navigate across the top menu, you will be able to search for the content or actor you are looking for.
If you select one of the genres, it will open to a page with picture tiles where you can explore all the content for this genre in one place.
