TalkTalk Software Update 60.48.91 & 72.48.91/ 3.6.248

This is a software release for TalkTalk DN372T & DN360T devices. This update includes some new features and bug fixes.

What's new?

New Settings and Help location

We have moved Settings and Help from the Main Menu into the top right corner next to the clock.

To get to these sections, press up on your remote from the Main Menu and press down to get back to the Main Menu.

Kids Area on the Main Menu

We’ve added a brand new Kids Area to your Main Menu, full of all your children's favourite On Demand shows.

We’ve also split the shows into categories to make it easier to find the shows they want or something similar to what your children like.

Merged Players & Apps

All players and apps have been merged under the ‘Apps’ in the main menu. Players & Apps is now called ‘Apps’ to match the main menu.

On screen keyboard UI change

We have made a small change to the UI of the on screen keyboard so that letters are highlighted in a blue square.

Bug fixes

We have fixed a few bugs in this release including:

  • An issue where recordings would continue to play for around 5 minutes if the user put the box into standby

  • An issue where the user would be unable to tune to another subscription channel when there is one subscription channel series recording already in progress

  • An issue where scheduled recordings in MyTV would display duplicate individual and series recording for the same event

  • An issue where the viewer is unable to cancel in progress split programme recordings
