Unable to get YouView
Can't get YouView on your Sony TV? Follow these steps to make sure you are set up correctly.
  1. Have a compatible TV
    Sony TV's with an Android operating system are compatible with YouView. Have a look on the Sony site for more information.

    Warning icon Before you buy anything, check if the TV is YouView compatible with the retailer. 
  2. Software Update
    To get YouView you’ll need to have the latest System Software. Make sure you are connected to the Internet then download the latest System Software. To do this, follow these instructions:

    Standard Remote
      Humax Remote
    1. Press the HELP button
    2. Scroll down and select System Software Update
    3. Choose Check for a system software update. If an update is available your TV will start to download it.
     
    Touchpad Remote
      Humax Remote
    1. Press the HOME button
    2. Scroll down to the Settings section and choose Help
    3. Scroll down and select System Software Update
    4. Choose Check for a system software update. If an update is available your TV will start to download it.
     
  3. Requirements
    For YouView to be made available to you, you need to meet certain requirements during setup:
     
    1. Language must be English
    2. Region must be UK
    3. Broadcast type must be one of the Digital options. YouView does not work with a Satellite signal. You’ll need to tune your channels with a Digital Aerial.

    If you have already set up your TV and have selected anything other than these requirements, you can always go through the Initial Setup again:
     
    1. Press the HOME button
    2. Scroll down to Settings and select Initial Setup
    3. Select Yes
