Before you try to enable YouView on your Sony TV you will need to meet these YouView requirements during the initial TV Setup: 

• Your selected language must be English
• Your selected Region and Area must be United Kingdom

Please Note: If you have already set up your TV and have selected anything other than these requirements, you can always go through the Initial Setup again. Press the HOME button and scroll to Settings > Initial Setup and select Yes.

Once you have met the YouView requirements during the Initial setup you will be introduced to the YouView Setup. Follow the on screen instructions to enable YouView.

You’ll need to accept our terms of use to be able to use YouView.

If you would like to disable YouView, try these steps: 

For 2020 Sony TV models or later with YouView.

1. Press the HOME Button
2. Select Settings
3. Select Apps
4. Select Live TV & Catch up
5. Select Disable and choose Yes

For earlier Sony TV Models with YouView.

1. Press the HOME button
2. Select Settings
3. Select Channel setup
4. Select YouView setup
5. Select Disable YouView and choose Yes

Please note that if you disable YouView you will no longer be able to access some Apps on your Sony TV.

To enable YouView try these steps: 

1. Press the HOME button
2. Select Settings
3. Select Channel Setup
4. Select YouView Setup
5. Select Enable and choose Yes
6. Follow the on screen set-up instructions
